Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with analytical tools or programming languages such as R, SQL, and/or Python
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently
  • Demonstrated interest in clean transportation, environmental policy, or sustainable infrastructure

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance tools that will assist in the research and analysis of the ZET market, by supporting data integration, visualization, and ongoing refinement to enhance decision-making across programs
  • Support the production of flagship research products, such as market reports, by assisting with data analysis, narrative development, and storytelling that communicates the state of the ZET market
  • Collect, clean, and manage datasets related to vehicle deployments, infrastructure locations, truck pricing, and fleet activity, ensuring data accuracy and usability for modeling, reporting, and program strategy
  • Conduct analytical modeling to forecast market trends, evaluate policy scenarios, and identify optimal infrastructure siting strategies that support zero-emission truck adoption
  • Create high-impact knowledge products—such as dashboards, case studies, videos, and two-pagers—that translate data into actionable insights for key audiences, including fleets, policymakers, and clean transportation stakeholders
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, particularly Data and Analytics, Regional Office, and Policy staff, to align data efforts with ongoing regulatory, market, and funding developments impacting the zero-emission truck ecosystem
  • Provide logistical and analytical support across multiple projects, assisting with tasks such as meeting coordination, data documentation, and presentation preparation to ensure timely and high-quality project execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of professional experience or internships in data analysis, research, project support, or policy-related roles
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS, or equivalent platforms
  • Understanding of vehicle electrification, infrastructure planning, or environmental modeling is a plus
  • Knowledgeable about the commercial vehicle sector, including truck classes, applications, and segmentation
