Summary

Join Kaizen as a Technical Proposal Writer Consultant for a USAID-funded project in Ukraine. This remote, 20-day contract (January 23, 2025 – May 30, 2025) requires leading the writing of three iterative technical proposals for a workforce development activity. You will attend technical design workshops and incorporate feedback into the proposals. The successful candidate will have prior experience writing USAID proposals, working in Ukraine/Eastern Europe, and expertise in relevant fields like economic growth or workforce development. Deliverables include the Pink, Red, and Gold Team proposals. Reporting is to the Business Development Manager.

Requirements

• Prior experience leading technical writing on USAID proposal responses
• Prior experience working in Ukraine and/or Eastern Europe
• Expertise in Economic Growth, Private Sector Engagement, Workforce Development, Labor Market Enabling Environment, or other related fields

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled technical design workshops
• Draft the Pink Team Proposal
• Use Pink Team review and comments to develop a Red Team Proposal
• Use Red Team review and comments to develop a Gold Team Proposal
• Any other tasks as mutually agreed upon by the Consultant and Kaizen
• Submit an invoice and timesheet showing the hours worked over the course of the invoicing period
