Summary

The job is a technical support role at Metronome, a rapidly scaling usage-based billing platform. Requirements

  • 3+ years of work experience in a highly technical support organization or engineering
  • Experience writing scripts or internal tools using APIs, and functional knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity programming in one of Typescript, Python or Ruby
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A mindset of customer empathy and ability to solve challenging problems

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with developers
  • Debugging issues
  • Developing and improving internal tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modern enterprise software which is business critical
  • Familiarity with at least one ticketing system, such as Zendesk, Front, or other systems
