Technical Visualization Designer, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

The Technical Visualization Designer at Oklo is responsible for creating visual media to represent complex technical concepts, collaborate with various teams, and ensure that both internal and external audiences understand the intricate details of Oklo’s products and technologies. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in industrial design, engineering, architecture, graphic design, or a related technical discipline and proficiency in CAD software and Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in industrial design, engineering, architecture, graphic design, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with 3D printing (FDM or SLA) and building models or displays
• Proficiency in a CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, OnShape)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software

Responsibilities

• Model and display creation
• Assist in designing and fabricate mechanical prototypes to support engineering and product development
• Digital media production
• Event coordination and display design
• Technical Collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in product design, graphic design, prototyping, or similar
• Experience with rendering software (e.g., KeyShot, Blender)
• Experience with video editing and animation software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Experience in event planning, exhibit design, or experience design
• Metal or wood shop experience (e.g., welding, machining, woodworking)
