Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a software development environment
- Ability to write and review code, with a reasonable level of knowledge of how software development works
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with documentation tools and platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other departments
Responsibilities
- Review existing documentation as well as new code comments in merge requests created by engineers
- Meet with engineers to gather additional information and clarify any uncertainties to write thorough documentation of their work
- Organize and maintain the discoverability of the documentation repository
- Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date with the latest product and feature updates
- Collaborate with the educational content, marketing, and customer success teams to provide them with the latest documentation updates and triage any inbound questions
- Write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that caters to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Assist in creating and maintaining runbooks for the 24/7 support team
- Continuously improve documentation processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with healthcare software and regulatory requirements is a plus
- Background in library science, technical writing, or a related field is highly desirable
- Completion of a coding bootcamp or equivalent experience is a plus
