Summary

Join SecurityScorecard as a Technical Writer to create and maintain documentation for our flagship managed cybersecurity service, MAX. Collaborate with various teams to develop user guides, release notes, FAQs, and process documentation. Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into easily understandable content for diverse audiences. Ensure documentation accuracy and alignment with product updates. Contribute to training materials and proactively identify documentation gaps. The role requires strong writing, communication, and project management skills, along with experience in a SaaS or cybersecurity environment. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or managed services environment
  • Batchelor's degree
  • Proven ability to write for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, SOC operations, or security tooling preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with documentation platforms such as Confluence, GitHub, Notion, or similar tools

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for MAX, including product guides, onboarding materials, runbooks, release notes, knowledge base articles, and internal SOPs
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts and managed service workflows into easy-to-understand content tailored to different audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Security Operations, and Customer Success to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with product updates
  • Contribute to the development of training and enablement materials for internal stakeholders and end users
  • Establish and maintain a consistent tone, structure, and style across all MAX documentation
  • Proactively identify documentation gaps and continuously improve content based on user feedback and product evolution

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience documenting APIs, integrations, or product architectures
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks
  • Background in journalism, English, technical communication, or a related field
