Technical Writer

Summary

Join Stellic's team as a Technical Writer and create educational content for customers and internal teams, supporting the implementation and use of Stellic products. This role combines technical communication and training video creation skills with project management, empathy, and storytelling.

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant experience as a SaaS software technical writer or content manager, including producing written and video content
• Superior writing skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse audience
• Ability to empathize with our partners to make them successful using our product
• Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and then design and develop clear training materials on them
• Motivated self-starter, capable of taking initiative, with exceptional teamwork skills, who is comfortable defining new documentation processes
• Experience with Intercom and Notion
• Experience using AI or other automation tools to assist in docs and training
• Experience designing instruction for in-person delivery of training

Responsibilities

• Assess the training and documentation needs of our customers and internal teams for new and existing features
• Develop written and video content through collaboration with Product, Engineering, and customer-facing teams, including integration materials used during implementation
• Work in partnership with other departments to improve our customer help center and our internal product knowledge base
• Support product adoption and customer education, with a goal of deflecting customer questions with docs and training
• Assist in writing product updates and release notes to make sure our customers stay updated on the latest features and releases
• Assess gaps in existing documentation and develop a strategy for updating and refining it
