Requirements

  • Possess excellent writing skills and experience in writing for a global audience
  • Build and publish technical documentation results, How To's, Online Help
  • Possess ability to document APIs (REST API)
  • Have a good understanding of programming languages (Java) and CI tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, by collaborating with fellow writers and other cross-team partners
  • Apply structured authoring principles to build task-based content
  • Track and balance multiple assignments in an Agile development environment
  • Track and resolve documentation bugs
  • Interact with various Product partners and successfully communicate the status of the assigned tasks
  • Handle project management tasks - content planning, reviews, demos, and handoffs

Responsibilities

  • Research, write, and handle documentation for our outstanding continuous testing, DevOps product: SeeTest
  • Understanding of key Testing principles & DevOps domains
  • Work closely with Dev & QA, Product Managers, Product Marketing, Solutions Engineers, and Customer Success to document new features and improve existing content
  • Build tutorial-based presentations and videos
  • Suggest changes to UI labels that conform to the company style standards
  • Manage the Continuous Testing documentation platform (Confluence)
  • Assists with the version released by publishing the documentation and integrate it with the Digital.ai global documentation platform

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as QA or technical related degree is helpful
  • A successful teammate who can handle tasks and assignments independently with little or no supervision
  • Proficiency in Confluence and Camtasia is an advantage
  • Knowledge of DITA, minimalist principles, and experience working in an agile development cycle
