Summary
Join Imagen Technologies as a highly skilled and experienced Technologist Manager to launch and optimize mammography, x-ray, and DEXA programs at primary care practices throughout the southwestern part of the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in hiring, training, mentoring, and managing technologists, ensuring compliant care that meets national and state regulations.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted R.T. (R) (M) (ARRT) certification
- Hold active Arizona state licenses in both x-ray and mammography
- Willing to obtain a New Mexico state license in x-ray
- Willing to obtain additional state licensure as needed
- Have 5 or more years of experience as a mammography and x-ray technologist and are skilled in the acquisition of 3D and 2D screening and diagnostic mammography and x-ray exams
- Have 3 or more years of overseeing (ideal) or executing (table stakes) mammography and x-ray QC/QA programs
- Have 3 or more years managing multiple technologists
- Have prior clinical and/or modality applications training experience
- Have a people-first mindset, willing to take extra steps to support clients and patients
- Hold a valid driverβs license and reliable transportation
- Lives in or willing to relocate to Phoenix
- Able to lift or move 50 pounds unassisted
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, mentor, and manage mammography, x-ray and DEXA technologists across multiple clinic locations in the SW United States
- Secure and maintain ACR accreditation where applicable
- Oversee technologist image quality and ensure your technologist team completes required quality control tests and quality assurance activities timely and comprehensively
- Continuously improve and optimize mammography, x-ray and DEXA technologist training materials and clinical program policies, procedures, and workflow tools
- Serve as the voice of the technologist and customer to help improve our clinical and operational model
- Support operations, both remotely and in person, by attending meetings, covering technologist staff PTO, interfacing with clients and other duties as necessary
