Summary
Join ReSource Pro as an Analyst, Technology Support and provide desktop and infrastructure support to a growing US team. This predominantly remote position, based in the Central time zone, requires occasional travel to the Groesbeck, TX office. You will support end-users, maintain the corporate technology environment, manage helpdesk tickets, and contribute to technology projects. After three months, responsibilities expand to include onsite and remote user support, collaboration with the China technology team, and overseeing application updates. The role demands strong communication, organizational skills, and technical expertise in Windows environments and common software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Live in the Central time zone and be available to travel to the office in Groesbeck, TX as needed
- 1-5 years' experience in a helpdesk or IT support role
- Intermediate computer troubleshooting skill and be able to independently troubleshoot even without procedures
- Strong oral and written communication, as well as comfort interfacing with senior company leaders
- Organization and ability to manage many concurrent activities, strong work management skills and attention-to-detail
- Understanding of the Windows desktop environment and common software including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Basic understanding of Windows Server administration, including Active Directory
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Provide desktop and infrastructure support for a growing US team and align efforts with overall global technology goals and strategies
- Support the end users and ensure the stable operation of the corporate technology environment and infrastructure
- Provide support for the onsite and remote users for all aspects of the computing environment, including troubleshooting, desktop maintenance, and new employee setup and hardware procurement
- Support China technology team in communicating and troubleshooting with ReSource Pro clients during the standard day-time
- Manage US Helpdesk ticketing and escalate as needed
- Support local and global Technology projects aimed to improve efficiency & effectiveness, collaboration with remote offices, and Information Security by evaluating and implementing technologies, under the direction of the IT Manager
- Support the maintenance of US applications including VOIP/PBX systems, Office 365 (SharePoint Online, etc.) and other applications such as Adobe
- Oversee desktop and application updates
- Provide support to US team on how to better use existing technology services
- Educate users on how to use tools more effectively to improve efficiency as well as collaborate more effectively with remote and international offices
