Summary

The job is for a Telemedicine MD at Wheel, responsible for providing virtual medical care via video visits, asynchronous visits, and patient messaging. The role requires a generalist physician with 5+ years of post-residency experience in primary care settings, preferably with 2+ years of telehealth experience.

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board certified in internal medicine or family medicine
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience post residency, preferably in primary care setting

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care via video visits, asynchronous visits, and patient messaging
• Provide convenience care for straightforward clinical conditions, e.g. UTIs, acne, birth control, etc
• Over time, begin seeing patients for a set of chronic or more complex conditions as a part of comprehensive longitudinal care programs currently in development, e.g. obesity, menopause

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in providing telehealth care
