Summary

Join YouScienceยฎ as a Territory Manager and drive the adoption of our innovative education technology solution. You will proactively identify and recruit new prospects, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and manage the sales process to meet sales targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build strong customer relationships. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, presenting YouScience's value proposition, overcoming objections, and managing leads. You will also travel to educational conferences, participate in team meetings, and monitor competition. Regularly align with internal teams to ensure project deliverables and customer expectations are met. Maintain a growth mindset and collaborate effectively with peers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in education tech sales in a business development role
  • Experience working with Superintendents, CTE Directors, Principals, teachers, etc
  • History of building new accounts and subsequent account management
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly describing/ selling product features that evolve quickly
  • Ability to work a territory and prioritize multiple projects

Responsibilities

  • Meet sales targets and quotas to increase revenue
  • Maintain positive customer relationships
  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies
  • Identify and understand key local initiatives and legislative mandates that influence territory business climate
  • Identify new potential clients & conduct outreach via phone calls, emails, etc
  • Develop and execute new and renewal business and implement expansion strategies
  • Present YouScience story / sales pitch / demo with prospective clients
  • Overcome objections and resolve concerns
  • Manage follow up with key leads and accounts
  • Provide product recommendations based on customer feedback
  • Document interactions in CRM system according to established processes
  • Travel to, participate, and present at education conferences and events to cultivate customer relationships
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Monitor competition within assigned region
  • Assess sales performance according to KPIs
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly territory review presentations to sales management
  • Regularly align with internal functional teams ensuring project deliverables and customer expectations align with services offered
  • Maintain a growth mentality, think outside the box, and seek constant skill improvement and knowledge while working collaboratively with peers
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Support team and company in achieving all team and company goals
