Test Analyst

You will be responsible for managing the testing lifecycle, from planning and execution to defect resolution. A competitive monthly salary of P80,000-P110,000 is offered, with a schedule of 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM Manila Time.

Requirements

• Hold a Certified International Software Testing Qualification or similar
• Possess knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and associated methodologies
• Have experience in DevOps practices such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, infrastructure as code, microservices and monitoring
• Possess knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices, such as authentication, authorization, encryption, and security protocols
• Manage defects and test case writing using systems such as Azure DevOps
• Have strong experience in preparation of testing documentation – Test Plans, Test cases and Test Execution Reports

Responsibilities

• Identify the testing stakeholders of each project and understand the role they will play within the testing activities. In addition, build and maintain stakeholder engagement and product knowledge by consulting with all project and business stakeholders
• As directed by the Project Manager or the IT Applications Manager, support the preparation of total project testing work estimates
• Contribute to the development of systems and processes to ensure the company has a defined testing methodology that is available and used to deliver all strategic and compliance projects. Also, follow established systems and processes to ensure the company uses a repeatable process to deliver all strategic and compliance projects testing outcomes
• Manage and complete the work of delivering the test plans, cases and review of test scenarios including linking test cases and establishment of required test data
• Create test and defect resolution strategy and test plan for assigned projects or business enhancement
• Demonstrate full understanding of the defect lifecycle process, and apply this to create or tailor the process as required
• Support the execution of business acceptance and usability testing
• Test and validate the requirements are meeting the business needs in the most effective manner within the provided parameters

Preferred Qualifications

• Have Automation Testing Experience
• Be a team player with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team
• Have sound demonstrated experience in conducting testing cycles on application development projects with clearly identified outcomes
• Have experience in providing support in production verification testing
