Test Automation Engineer

We seek a self-driven individual with solid experience in Gherkin (Cucumber), REST API testing, and manual testing. Requirements

• Solid experience with Gherkin (Cucumber)
• Basic understanding of Java (JVM, Spring)
• Solid experience with REST API testing (Postman, Insomnia, cURL, OpenAPI, Swagger, HTTP)
• Solid experience in manual testing
• Self driven individual
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills
• Good verbal communication and good interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Ensure and improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of the Automation framework
• Use the new automation tools for record and capture
• Perform manual testing
• Collaborate with the development teams to ensure the test scenarios for the backend members

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Testim, a Record and Capture tool
• Javascript knowledge
• CI/CD experience (Pipelines, Jenkins, GitLab Pipelines, Bamboo, GitHub Actions)
• Shell scripting (bash, zsh, scripting)
