Test Automation Senior

Summary

Join Encora's team as a Software Quality Engineer and contribute to the quality assurance and test automation of a Private Cloud Platform solution for distributed Edge computing. You will collaborate with a skilled team to deliver a highly distributed private cloud platform supporting containerized applications, virtual machines, and bare metal nodes. This full-time, work-from-home position in Brazil requires experience with Python for testing, Kubernetes, containers, and Linux platforms. You will automate tests, interact with the development team, analyze systems, participate in technical discussions with customers, and report issues. The ideal candidate will also possess experience with testing tools like Pytest Framework/Cypress and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Experience with Python for testing
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers
• Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools
• Experience working on Linux platforms

Responsibilities

• Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development
• Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles
• Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy
• Participate in technical discussions with customer
• Coordinate with development team to drive product quality
• Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues
• Experience working with testing tools: Pytest Framework / Cypress
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment
