Test Automation Specialist

Summary

Join European Dynamics as a remote Test Automation Specialist (ServiceNow)! This role requires expertise in ServiceNow automated testing, working closely with a major client's IT team. You will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, contribute to the development of a comprehensive testing plan, and evaluate automation tools. A minimum of 11 years of relevant IT experience and a university degree in IT or a related field are required. Proficiency in ServiceNow and various testing tools and frameworks is essential. The position offers a competitive remuneration package, either on a contract basis or with full benefits.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 11 years of relevant working experience in IT
• Proficiency in navigating and configuring the ServiceNow platform
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, ServiceNow ATF, …)
• Experience with performance and security testing
• Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other tools and platforms
• Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure testing accuracy and efficiency
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integration
• Understanding of ServiceNow’s scripting and automation capabilities, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
• Understanding of test automation strategies and when to apply them
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the ServiceNow platform
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Design, prepare and monitor ServiceNow automated tests
• Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate ServiceNow automated testing within the testing process
• Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach
• Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture
• Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs
• Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach
• Create automated test reporting and metrics collection

Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of the following certificates would be considered as an asset: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), Certified Selenium WebDriver Professional
• French would be considered an advantage
