Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing or financial services company
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or another marketing automation platform
  • 2+ years in email marketing best practices and multi-channel campaign management (experience in deliverability, responsiveness, lead nurturing, etc.)
  • Ability to configure, test, implement and optimize digital marketing campaigns through the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, AMPscript, Tableau, HTML and Google Analytics, joining multiple data sources and building segmentation
  • Working knowledge of CRM integrations (data flow understanding and management.)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Must be able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication
  • Ability to consult and collaborate with marketers on journey executions and optimizations
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to change
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced production environment while addressing multiple projects and responsibilities at one time

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to create, build and maintain complex & personalized automated customer journeys
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and experience in executing on strategic marketing automation roadmap. Act as SME for testing and new capabilities with vendor
  • Serve as liaison with IT, providing business requirements while understanding technical requirements as well as reporting any SFMC specific discrepancies or enhancements
  • Build dynamically targeted lists using business criteria and understanding data flow between CRM and automation tools
  • Understand and ensure standards met for email delivery and IP reputation management by staying current on best practices
  • Experience with marketing automation concepts and ability to build and execute long-term strategy for SFMC in alignment with SF strategy
  • Understand marketing concepts and manage sales funnel distribution throughout campaigns
  • Provide technical support and leadership by bridging content and data using AMPscript and SQL code
  • Administer content management system, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), ensuring assets are delivered to various locations
  • Manage marketing technology platforms, performing analysis on processes and functionality to ensure systems are as efficient as possible
  • Work in tandem with IT and Data Analytics resources to design, test, deploy, and validate enhancements to marketing technology and data platforms
  • Support implementation for new Marketing tools and/or platforms
  • Proactively identify opportunities for system improvements, cost reduction and performance enhancement across platforms
  • Improve reporting capabilities out of current systems to help drive insights and decision making for internal partners
  • Provide technical scope, system ownership, and bridge gaps between execution and analytics
  • Gather, create, maintain & analyze data to create relevant dashboards to help support marketing efforts and initiatives using Tableau/Power BI
  • Act as mentor to other team members, train as backup, answer questions to broaden others skillset
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentation related to Marketing Operations processes
  • Provide support for digital and printed materials distribution, utilizing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to automate the delivery of materials to multiple destinations
  • Provide support for BAU Marketing project management, assigning Jira stories to correct individuals and providing final approvals on cross functional ad review process

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with email marketing channels
  • Experience in B2B marketing is a plus
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
