Test Automation Specialist

Summary

Join us as a Test Automation Specialist in Prague! This senior-level role, working as an independent contractor, involves implementing automated web tests for mobile applications using Selenium/Playwright or Katalon Studio, adhering to banking guidelines for the BIAT program. You will conduct test analysis, creating test scenarios for automation based on provided manual testing documentation. The position requires strong programming skills, experience in automated testing, and excellent analytical abilities. The role is hybrid, requiring 60% on-site presence in Prague. The contract is long-term, starting between January and December 2025, with the expectation of extension.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Page Object Pattern
• Experience in implementing automated tests (advantage is direct experience with developing automated web tests in Kotlin/Java + Selenium (XPath), Typescript + Playwright, or Groovy Script + Katalon Studio for mobile apps or websites)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in OOP programming in Java/Kotlin, or Typescript, Javascript, Groovyscript, or C#
• Practical experience with testing – unit tests, system tests, etc
• Good analytical skills
• English language skills at a level sufficient for reading and writing technical documentation
• Ability to be present on-site (Radlická SHQ) 60% of the time

Responsibilities

• Implement automated web tests in Selenium/Playwright or Katalon Studio for mobile applications according to banking guidelines for the BIAT program
• Conduct test analysis; create test scenarios with appropriate granularity and a clear testing objective for automated testing based on provided manual testing documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an agile team
• Experience with the code review process
• Knowledge of Maven, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of Jira, Bitbucket, and Git tools
• Knowledge of (reading) Enterprise Architect and UML
