Test Automation Specialist

Summary

Join Testlio, a leading quality management company, as a Test Automation Specialist Contractor for a six-month project. You will partner with clients, implement best practices in software QA, and contribute to the development of the Quality Engineering Center of Excellence. This role requires 3-5 years of experience in web and mobile automation frameworks, proficiency in Appium, Playwright, Python/Javascript/Typescript, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. You will work with diverse teams on multiple projects for major clients, shaping Testlio's approach to automated testing. The position offers the flexibility of a 100% remote work environment and the chance to learn from experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience working with web and mobile automation frameworks
• Experience with Appium (Native) and Playwright
• Knowledge of Python and/or Javascript/Typescript
• Hands-on experience in testing large codebases with multiple subsystems
• Knowledge of how automation can be leveraged for different quality gates
• Previous experience in collaborating with different stakeholders and external clients, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships
• Experience implementing test automation into CI/CD pipelines is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Be willing to learn fast and continuously expand your knowledge
• Team player, socially open-minded, empathetic, and considerate of cultural differences

Responsibilities

• Act as a Test Automation Specialist in understanding and simplifying the implementations to the QE test automation suite and implementing it into CI/CD pipeline
• Assist the other QA/TA team members deployed on the client side in making test automation a success
• Adhere to Testlio’s defined scripting governance process
• Prepare automation roadmaps and status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing the data
• Use your extensive automation experience to challenge the status quo and recommend improvements to frameworks and processes
• Partner with clients' internal teams to drive strategic Automated Testing solutions
