Test Engineer

Summary

Join roadsurfer, a fast-growing campervan rental company, and become a manual tester in our new development team focused on Stations. You will collaborate closely with the product owner, ensuring testable user stories and effective testing. As part of a cross-functional team, you will contribute to establishing new structures and processes. Requirements

• Have proven prior manual testing experience, ideally with modern web applications
• Have experience with Postman or similar tools for testing REST APIs
• Have a good understanding of client-server architecture
• Can write and execute basic SQL queries
• Be experienced with JIRA and other tools in the Atlassian stack
• Speak and understand English very well

Responsibilities

• Drive manual testing in our new development team which handles the domain Stations
• Work closely with your product owner to ensure that user stories are testable, and that we test the right things
• Be part of a cross-functional development team and you can get creative when it comes to setting up new structures and development/testing processes
• Work with Selenium and Java as key tools in our testing stack

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience of testing purely BE applications
• Have experience with CI/CD (Jenkins or similar tools)
• Be passionate about testing and familiar with TDD and BDD
• Have some experience of test automation with tools like Selenium
