Trader

Summary

The Trading Intern will work with trading teams, learn proprietary methodologies and trading systems, build and maintain trading models, oversee daily processes, analyze trade positions, identify new market opportunities, and be mentored by Senior Traders. The position requires a candidate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, strong proficiency with various programming languages, a high work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and a strong interest in trading.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong interest in trading and model development
• Demonstrate ability to learn and apply new concepts

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trading models
• Oversee and improve daily processes as needed
• Analyze, and solve discrepancies in trade positions
• Identify new market opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

A high level of proficiency with Excel, C++, C#, R, Python, and VBA is preferred

Hourly pay range $25.00-$40.00
