Trading Platform Support Engineer

Summary

The job is for an IT professional to maintain and support trading platforms at Zeal Group, a FinTech company. The role involves performing tests, upgrades, troubleshooting incidents, and monitoring platform health. Required qualifications include experience with MT4/MT5 administration, knowledge of Zabbix/Kibana, SQL, Windows Server OS and Hyper-V, Power Shell, TCP/IP protocols stack, and routing. Preferred qualifications are trading support experience, administrative knowledge of SQL, and experience in diagnosing connectivity issues.

Requirements

• Ability to work in shifts by schedule
• Experience in MT4/MT5 administration or other trading platforms
• Trading support experience/exposure to trading protocols, FIX is a plus
• Good knowledge and experience to work with Zabbix/Kibana
• Knowledge of SQL (administrative knowledge will be considered an advantage)
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server OS and Hyper-V
• Experience with Power Shell (or other script language)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols stack, routing and experience in diagnosing connectivity issues
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT related professional field
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proactive and efficient with strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Good spoken and written English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support operations in Trading Platforms environment (primarily MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5)
• Perform basic tests, updates and upgrades to systems
• Coordinate efforts with other teams to ensure continuity and consistency of support in a 24x7 environment
• Troubleshoot trading system production incidents resulting from internal or external factors
• Monitor health and status of the platforms to ensure stable work of services and performance as expected
