Summary

Join GuidePoint Security as a Training Design Intern and gain hands-on experience developing and delivering high-quality training materials. This part-time, remote, paid internship offers opportunities to create e-learning modules, instructor-led training resources, and videos. Collaborate with the GPSU team to analyze training needs, design curriculum, and ensure content aligns with learning objectives. You will support multimedia production, manage training content in the LMS, and participate in program evaluation. The internship requires proficiency in instructional design tools and knowledge of adult learning principles. Successful candidates will possess strong communication and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field
  • Proficiency in using instructional design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia, etc
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Creativity and an eye for detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Microsoft Office skills appropriate to course development

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating training materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training resources, videos, and job aids
  • This may include storytelling and branching scenarios to create more engaging content
  • Collaborate with the GPSU team to analyze training needs, design curriculum, and ensure that content aligns with learning objectives
  • Support the development of multimedia elements, including graphics, animations, and videos, to enhance training content
  • Assist in uploading and managing training content in the LMS, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for employees
  • Participate in the evaluation of training programs, collect feedback from participants, and make necessary improvements based on feedback and data analysis
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a corporate LMS, such as Docebo, is preferred
