Summary

Join D2L as a Transition Consultant and lead efficiency improvement projects for customers and internal stakeholders. You will scope, design, and deliver solutions that reduce time and manual effort, leveraging the latest product offerings. This role involves working with senior level and tactical representatives, understanding customer challenges, and creating project plans for new transition projects. You will advocate for customers and professional services during roadmap planning, create necessary artifacts for communication, and serve as the main technical contact for your projects. This is a non-billable role.

Requirements

  • 5 years relevant work experience
  • Proficient with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, Pandas, or other similar tools
  • Experience working with relevant technologies such as SQL, XML, CSV, REST APIs
  • Knowledge of common AWS tools
  • 2-3 years using and configuring Brightspace
  • 2-3 experience directly interacting with Customers including senior level leaders
  • Superb oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communications to your audience to convey complex concepts
  • Strong analysis skills when given obscure issues
  • Ability to multitask many projects and customer needs using strong organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a group

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior level and tactical representatives both externally and internally
  • Articulate the business reasons for projects and persuade internal and external stakeholders to invest the needed resources ensuring the success of your projects
  • Understand current challenges faced by customers, determine optimal solutions to solve business needs, and complete required transitions to new suggested solutions
  • Create and update solution documentation of common solutions and processes
  • Create project plans for new transition projects and adapt plans when encountering new technical challenges
  • Work directly with Customers to complete transition projects
  • Advocate for Customers and Professional Services during roadmap planning to articulate product needs that will assist with improving service offerings or completing transition efforts
  • Create necessary artifacts to communicate requirements, scope, proposals, and status effectively
  • Customer communication will occur via email, phone, and video
  • Create reusable tools to improve internal processes
  • Serve as the main technical contact for your projects to internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and manage training for Professional Services teams as product changes occur or process changes are implemented
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Professional Services teams suggesting creative solutions to problems or new approaches to save time and effort
