Remote Translation Project Manager

Summary

The Senior Project Manager at Alexa Translations is responsible for preserving, improving, and maintaining client relationships while ensuring the successful execution of projects. The role involves project planning, execution, completion, and follow-up, as well as team management and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• College diploma, university degree or equivalent
• Bilingual (English/French) mandatory requirement
• 5-7+ years of experience in Localization Project Management
• Experience dealing with middle managers and senior managers in client/partner relationships

Responsibilities

• Preserve, improve, and maintain client relationships
• Ensure the smooth execution of a project's life cycle for all projects in their area
• Plan and select resources needed to deliver the project within timelines and budget
• Oversee the execution of projects and keep stakeholders informed throughout the execution phase
• Ensure follow-up calls with involved stakeholders upon successful project completion
• Maintain the relationship with clients and all requesters for recurring and/or contracted clients
• Produce and continuously improve the team (Project Managers and Project Coordinators)
• Support Project Coordinators assigned to you with project issues and challenges
• Proactive problem solving to avoid client issues
• Ensure client issues are being addressed and QA evaluations are being conducted when necessary
• Train any new members assigned to your team
• Motivate your team to perform in accordance with company and the Linguistic Operations department goals
• Lead by example to ensure culture is maintained and morale of the team and its partners are motivated and appreciated
