Summary

Join Testronic Translation Department as an English to Chinese Traditional translator! Translate video game full-titles and updates, as well as marketing materials. You will also proofread and edit other translators' work. This is a freelance, remote position requiring a minimum of 6 months of translation experience and fluency in English. Native or near-native proficiency in Traditional Chinese is essential. Decent translation rates and a casual work environment are offered. Experience in the gaming or filming industry is beneficial.

Requirements

• Be a Native speaker or native related of Chinese Traditional who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances
• Have fluent knowledge of English
• Have minimum 6 months of translation experience
• Have freelance registration and ability to provide invoices

Responsibilities

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates
• Translate marketing texts and materials from our clients
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality

Preferred Qualifications

Have translation experience in the gaming/filming industry
