Translator - Greek

Summary

Join Testronic Translation Department as an English into /LANGUAGE/ translator. Translate video game full-titles and updates, as well as marketing texts and materials. Proofread and edit other translators' work. The ideal candidate is a native or near-native speaker of Greek, passionate about language and cultural nuances, with fluent English and at least six months of translation experience. Freelance registration and invoicing capabilities are required. This is a remote, independent, project-based position offering decent translation rates and the opportunity to work within the gaming industry. The company provides necessary CAT tools.

Requirements

• A Native speaker or native related of Greek who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 6 months of translation experience
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices

Responsibilities

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates
• Additionally, translate marketing texts and materials from our clients and you would be responsible for translating them
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality

Preferred Qualifications

Translation experience in the gaming/filming industry will be beneficial
