Translator - Greek

Summary

Join Testronic Translation Department as an English to Greek translator for video games, game updates, and marketing materials. Translate full video game titles, sometimes collaborating with other translators, and ensure high-quality translations by proofreading and editing colleagues' work. The ideal candidate is a native or near-native Greek speaker with a passion for language and cultural nuances, fluent in English, and possessing at least six months of translation experience. Freelance registration and invoicing capabilities are required. This is a remote, project-based freelance position offering competitive rates and the opportunity to work within the CET time zone. Experience in the gaming or filming industry is a plus.

Requirements

• A Native speaker or native related of Greek who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 6 months of translation experience
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices
• Needed tools (CAT tool license for Memsource for our projects)

Responsibilities

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates
• Additionally, translate marketing texts and materials from our clients and you would be responsible for translating them
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality

Preferred Qualifications

Translation experience in the gaming/filming industry will be beneficial
