Translator - Hebrew

Summary

Join Testronic Translation Department as an English to Hebrew translator for video games, game updates, and marketing materials. Translate full video game titles (sometimes collaboratively) and game updates. Translate marketing texts and materials from clients. Proofread and edit other translators' work. This is a freelance, remote position with decent translation rates, requiring a minimum of six months of translation experience and freelance invoicing capabilities. The ideal candidate is a native or near-native Hebrew speaker with fluency in English and a passion for language and cultural nuances. Experience in the gaming or filming industry is beneficial.

Requirements

• A Native speaker or native related of Hebrew who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 6 months of translation experience
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices
• Needed tools (CAT tool license for Memsource for our projects)

Responsibilities

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates
• Additionally, translate marketing texts and materials from our clients and you would be responsible for translating them
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality

Preferred Qualifications

Translation experience in the gaming/filming industry will be beneficial
