Translator - Swedish

Summary

Join Testronic Translation Department as an English to Swedish translator! Translate video game full-titles and updates, sometimes collaborating with other translators. Translate marketing materials from clients. Proofread and edit other translators' work. This freelance position requires a native or near-native Swedish speaker with a passion for language and cultural nuances, fluent English, and at least six months of translation experience. Enjoy decent translation rates, remote work flexibility within the CET time zone, and an informal work environment. Experience in the gaming or filming industry is a plus.

Requirements

• A Native speaker or native related of Swedish who is also a language enthusiast, passionate about linguistic and cultural nuances
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Minimum 6 months of translation experience
• Freelance registration and ability to provide invoices

Responsibilities

• Translate video games both full-titles (sometimes shared with other translators) and game updates
• Additionally, translate marketing texts and materials from our clients and you would be responsible for translating them
• Proofread and edit other translators’ work to ensure the text is of the best quality

Preferred Qualifications

Translation experience in the gaming/filming industry will be beneficial
