Remote Traveling Data Specialist

Summary

Join our team as a Traveling Field Data Specialist to support real property portfolio management for Army installations. The ideal candidate will survey, validate, analyze, develop, and adjudicate enterprise data with correct real property information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of related business process analysis and support experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Customer oriented, motivated, and able to function as part of a team
• Able to multi-task to efficiently meet deadlines with high quality (zero errors) work
• Must be capable of obtaining a Common Access Card
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be a citizen of the United States
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to travel for some extended periods of time
• Must be able to walk/stand for up to eight (8) hours per day to perform job duties
• Willingness to learn the business process, terminology, policies and regulations, and systems requirements for proper execution of field surveys
• General understanding of DoD real property asset validation requirements
• Conduct field surveys using laser dimension tools, LIDAR scanning, CAD software, and other data-gathering tools to collect building, occupancy, and space information
• Provide project updates, metrics, communication, and documentation to clients, stakeholders, and the home office
• Provide daily support and interact with customers
• Meet performance goals, work with minimal supervision, discuss requirements with customers, determine a way forward, and interact with customers in a briefing scenario
• Must be a “team player”, willing to assist fellow team members as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior military service is a plus
• Working knowledge of Army Real Property
• Understanding of Army category codes, space utilization process/criteria, or GFEBS/HQIIS
• Familiar with CAD software, previous experience is a plus
• Familiar with LiDAR technology
• Possess strong professional oral and written communication skills
