UI Designer

Summary

Join our agile product team as a talented UX/UI Designer! You will be responsible for creating exceptional user experiences and transforming concepts into visually appealing designs. You will work with Figma and other design tools, ensuring designs are optimized for various screen sizes and devices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key, requiring effective communication and time management skills. The ideal candidate possesses strong UX/UI design principles understanding and experience with responsive design. This remote position offers flexible hours and is based in the Philippines, with payment via Upwork.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Figma and other design/prototyping tools
• A solid understanding of UX/UI design principles, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work US business hours (EST)
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Design and Prototyping: Create pixel-perfect mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma (or other relevant tools) to effectively communicate design concepts to development teams
• Responsive Design: Ensure designs are optimized for various screen sizes and devices, delivering seamless user experiences across platforms
• Design System Adherence: Work within established design systems, utilizing defined styles and components to maintain consistency and efficiency
• User-Centric Design: Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that meet user needs
• Collaboration: Actively participate in collaborative discussions with cross-functional teams, providing valuable design insights and addressing feedback
• Time Management: Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
• Communication: Clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with rapid prototyping tools
• Knowledge of usability testing methodologies
• Ability to create user flows and customer journey maps
