Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS, services, or enterprise software, with a track record of exceeding quotas and growing new business
- Proven ability to build and manage a full sales pipeline, from outreach to close, including proposal writing, pricing, and contract negotiation
- Experience in early-stage startups or launching new products, with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to influencing product direction and strategy
- Deep understanding of utility programs and load management, including managed EV charging, demand response, and the customer energy experience
- Skilled in developing and executing strategic go-to-market and account plans while clearly articulating Optiwatt’s unique value proposition
- Comfortable engaging and influencing senior decision-makers and building trusted, long-term client relationships
- Willingness to travel 25%+ for conferences, client meetings, and in-person team meetings
- Driven to win, with a passion for growth, impact, and advancing the clean energy transition
Responsibilities
- Developing a robust multi-million dollar pipeline of new deals, prospects, and partners within an assigned territory
- Achieve large sales goals through existing client expansions and net new business
- Identify, reach, and influence key utility decision makers, stakeholders, and industry influencers within your targeted accounts and territory
- Collaborate with other members of Optiwatt’s sales, client success, marketing, and product teams to achieve customer objectives and exceed their expectations
