UX Copywriter

Summary

Join our Starting Lineup! As a UX Writer/Copywriter at Sleeper, you’ll shape the language and content across our platform to ensure users have a seamless and engaging experience. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create content for web and mobile, marketing campaigns, slogans, landing pages, video content, and more.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in UX writing, content design, or copywriting
• Strong portfolio showcasing your writing skills and content strategy experience
• Experience writing for marketing campaigns and creating persuasive, brand-aligned content
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Sharp attention to detail and a passion for creating user-centered content
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Write and edit UI text, in-app messaging, and other product content for web and mobile
• Craft compelling copy for marketing campaigns, slogans, landing pages, and scripts for video content
• Develop content strategies that enhance user experiences and align with our brand voice
• Help maintain and evolve our content style guide and voice and tone guidelines – developing content and copy best practices to be applied across our product-ecosystem
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is clear, consistent, and user-centered
• Participate in user testing, research, and product development process to inform content decisions and provide feedback to cross-teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with design and prototyping tools is a plus
• Passion for sports, with a knack for weaving in current sports events, memes, and fan culture into your writing—you know how to call the right play at the right time
