Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a product designer or UX designer, preferably in a startup environment
- Some experience designing DTC or B2C software at scale
- Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in visual and interaction design for digital products
- Seasoned professional comfortable leading projects in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Figma for interface design and prototyping
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and working closely with developers on implementation
- Strong competency in figuring out what designs work from a business perspective and will actually impact business metrics, not just what designs look beautiful
- Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics, graphic design, typography, and layout
- Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design decisions
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, fully remote work environment
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end UX design process for our telehealth platform, taking ownership of both visual and interaction design elements to deliver exceptional user experiences
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to define and execute design solutions using an iterative approach that align with business objectives and user needs
- Develop user personas, user flows, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions
- Contribute to the development and evolution of our design system, including identifying opportunities to improve existing components and creating new ones as needed
- Partner with product managers and developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process
- Design and iterate on complex prototypes using Figma, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and user testing to refine the user experience
- Provide design insights and recommendations to non-designers, helping to improve user flows, aesthetics, and overall product usability
- Conduct user interviews and user testing sessions to gain insights into user pain points, goals, and opportunities, informing design decisions and product enhancements
- Proactively build relationships within stakeholder teams and collaborate to bridge the gaps between product features
- Collaborate with other product designers to ensure a holistic design throughout our products
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a high-growth startup environment with tight deadlines and turnaround times
- Experience with digital health or healthcare technology in general
- Experience and comfortability in a fully remote environment
- Strong understanding of Material UI design principles and experience using Material UI as a design system
