Summary

We are seeking a talented UX Programmer with at least 2-3 years of experience in the video game industry to design and implement user interfaces and gameplay systems for an exciting MMO title. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, creative thinking, and understanding of player behavior and psychology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Graphic Design, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a 2D Artist, Illustrator, or Concept Artist in the video game industry, with at least 2-3 years of experience working on AAA titles or MMOs
  • Proficiency in digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Procreate, or Clip Studio Paint
  • Strong drawing and illustration skills, with the ability to create detailed and expressive artwork in various styles and genres
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience designing user interfaces for games or interactive media
  • Excellent storytelling and narrative skills, with the ability to convey emotion, action, and atmosphere through visual storytelling techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with other team members

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and design user interfaces that are intuitive, visually appealing, and functional
  • Translate design concepts into code, implementing user interfaces using appropriate programming languages and frameworks
  • Design and implement gameplay systems that contribute to a seamless and immersive player experience
  • Conduct user research and playtesting to gather feedback and insights that inform UX design decisions
  • Work closely with artists, designers, programmers, and other stakeholders to integrate UX elements seamlessly into the game
  • Identify opportunities to optimize user interfaces and gameplay systems for performance, usability, and player engagement
