This role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing venues and/or warehouses, strong communication skills, and a collaborative approach. Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing venues and/or warehouses including legislation relating to these, ideally hosting events in such buildings
- You'll have strong communication skills and a proven track record of building positive working relationships
- Excellent face-to-face communication skills
- Highly organized and efficient. Time management skills are key
- A problem-solver with the ability to think strategically and efficiently when faced with issues on-site
- Collaborative approach and willing to get hands dirty and work on all required tasks
- Domestic travel likely to be required
Responsibilities
- Manage the venues operationally day to day including managing keys, security, cleaning, waste contractors
- Maintain venue documentation and records up to date (incl. tech specs)
- Ensure compliance with venue management plan and other requirement from the occupancy permit and Development Application
- Coordinate with trades and other suppliers for planned maintenance activities (e.g. fire systems)
- Coordinate corrective maintenance of the venue (when something is broken, etc.)
- Be the PoC for partners renting the venue, and perform onboarding for hirers
- Source venue-related services including utilities, broadband, cleaning for common areas, replenishment of consumables, waste management, and other preventive maintenance
- Process venue-related invoices and follow-up through to on time payment, and allocation to the right projects/ P&L/ partner for pass through costs (e.g. electricity)
- Keep track of venue P&L including costs (OPEX, CAPEX) and revenues (rent from project/ other hiring, grants, other)
- Log and capture use of venue consumables (bathrooms, light globes etc) and provide forecast of costs to project management
- Ensure compliance with liquor licenses requirements, and renew liquor license on time every year/ relevant period
- Storage facilities support Be the PoC for storage spaces in Australia
- Process storage-related invoices and follow-up through to on time payment, and allocation to the right projects/ P&L/ partner
- Support procurement team during sourcing phase of storage spaces (e.g. inspections, etc.)
- Support inventory management and processes
- Manage plant, machinery and truck access for successful delivery and collection to site
