Summary

Kyverna Therapeutics is recruiting a VP, Clinical Development to help advance its mission in autoimmune disease treatment. The candidate will serve as therapeutic area head and medical lead for neurology or rheumatology focused clinical programs, provide strategic direction for overall clinical trial activities, and contribute to goals in synthetic biology, immunology, and cell engineering. Requirements include an MD (or equivalent), board certification in Neurology, Rheumatology, or Hematology-Oncology, 10+ years of industry experience, and proven ability to interpret and present data.

Requirements

  • MD (or ex-US equivalent), PhD, or MD-PhD degree
  • Board certification in Neurology, Rheumatology, or Hematology-Oncology preferred
  • 10 or more years of industry experience in clinical development
  • Specialty training in neurology, rheumatology, hematology-oncology and/or industry experience in clinical development of therapeutics in neuroscience or autoimmune diseases
  • Proven ability to interpret, discuss and present efficacy and safety data
  • Working knowledge of GCP/ICH, clinical trial design, clinical development processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong ability to communicate and establish effective working relationship with investigators, collaborators, scientific advisors, CROs, and corporate partners

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the therapeutic area head and medical lead for neurology or rheumatology focused clinical programs
  • Support the overall clinical development activities at Kyverna, providing strategic direction and oversight of clinical trial activities
  • Be responsible for advancing clinical programs and executing on clinical program deliverables
  • Development of clinical trial documents including protocols, ICFs, clinical development plans, and publications
  • Lead the development of clinical sections of regulatory documents including the IB, safety updates, clinical study reports, and responses to Health Authorities
  • Engage with external investigators, researchers, professional organizations, and corporate partners

Benefits

  • Salary range: $390,000 USD to $430,000 USD annually
  • Bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan
