Requirements
- MD or DO degree required with 15+ years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in a clinical leadership role, ideally focused on quality improvement, value-based care, or population health management
- Unparalleled, 90th percentile or better ability to lead through influence
- Relentless focus on data, using numbers to guide strategic decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to successfully navigate and manage relationships across all levels, both upward and downward
- Deep understanding of key quality measures, including those related to blood pressure control, A1c control, and other chronic disease management metrics
Responsibilities
- Lead Aledadeβs enterprise-wide clinical strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and national quality standards
- Drive strategic initiatives to position the company as a leader in clinical quality performance
- Develop and champion evidence-based clinical programs with organizational-wide impact
- Set the strategic direction for chronic disease management improvements, leveraging the latest research and cross-functional partnerships
- Establish and communicate a comprehensive, integrated vision for quality performance across chronic condition management measures (e.g., blood pressure and diabetes A1c control) and process-oriented measures (e.g., as screenings, transitional care, etc.)
- Optimize collaboration with key stakeholders to achieve industry-leading outcomes and enhance organizational reputation in quality standards
- Be accountable for national performance on key clinical quality programs,Β with an initial focus on blood pressure control
- Lead the development and execution of sophisticated data systems for collection, analysis, and reporting
- Utilize these systems to influence decision-making and elevate clinical performance against key quality measures at a national level
- Spearhead advanced analysis of trends to proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities for substantial improvements in chronic disease management metrics, fostering innovation and setting benchmarks for the industry
- Lead the creation and implementation of a transformative education program that promotes best practices in clinical quality and value-based care
- Ensure this program serves as a benchmark for both internal and external stakeholders, enhancing organizational reputation and influence
- Strengthen and expand strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including regional medical directors and Aledade partner practices
- Foster an environment of alignment, collaboration, and shared vision for advancing clinical quality
- Provide strategic guidance on evolving clinical quality standards and value-based care models
- Influence and shape contracting and public policy through expert insights and advocacy, positioning the organization as a thought leader in the industry
- Direct and inspire a high-performing team of clinical quality professionals, driving their development and fostering a culture of excellence and engagement
- Lead initiatives that significantly enhance employee satisfaction and retention
- Champion organizational talent development, mentoring and cultivating leaders across the organization
- Extend influence beyond direct reports to create a pervasive impact on the organization's talent pool, nurturing future leaders who will drive clinical quality and innovation
- Adapt to evolving organizational needs and priorities by taking on additional duties as necessary
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in a primary care speciality
- 5+ years experience in clinical practice
