Requirements

• Deployed Terraform within your organization and have built internal platforms involving Terraform
• 15+ years of experience in world-class technical organizations
• Built and managed a team of 200+ engineers
• Deep passion for modern infrastructure/Cloud/SaaS practices
• Demonstrated track record of highly collaborative cross functional work
• Demonstrated track record of growth in complex organizations
• Strong focus on execution
• Cultural alignment with HashiCorp’s principles

Responsibilities

• Lead a high impact organization to deliver against critical business goals
• Hire, manage, and lead a team of highly technical engineering directors to implement world class solutions across the portfolio
• Develop and continually improve automation, processes, metrics and enabling technology for all components of the portfolio described above
• Partner closely with all functional leaders to set and incorporate business objectives, and strategy, and then ensure effective delivery of services and systems that meet our objectives
• Collaborate with the senior leadership to define and execute HashiCorp's overall technology strategy
• Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Foster collaboration between the core platform, SRE, and other product engineering groups
• Influence and grow a strong engineering culture within the organization
• Work closely with various field organizations to ensure successful customer adoption
• Work on bootstrapping new projects in the adjacent problem space
• Mentor, grow, and develop the engineering leadership team in the product line

• The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is: $281,000 — $330,769 USD
• The base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is: $281,000 — $330,769 USD
• The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is: $281,000 — $330,769 USD
