Summary
Join Precision for Medicine as the Vice President, Regional Human Resources, based remotely in the UK. Lead regional HR teams across the EU & APAC, driving initiatives to support business growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence. Focus on evolving HR communications, process excellence, and ensuring compliance with regional labor laws and global policies. Collaborate with HRBPs and COEs, and oversee internal HR communications for clarity and consistency. Ensure compliance with local employment laws and lead audits and risk assessments. Provide HR business oversight on performance management and develop harmonized career ladders. Coach and develop direct reports, aligning team actions with business needs. Some travel may be required. This role is part of the HR Leadership team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university degree, Advanced Degree preferred
- Should ideally have around 12+ yearsβ experience in Human Resources
- Supported global organizations of 500+ employees including YOY growth
- Previous management experience
- HR systems experience (as a user)
- Employee relations, coaching and counseling
- Strong understanding of employment law
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Travel 15%
Responsibilities
- Identify, recommend and implement an effective HR strategy aligned to business objectives and cultural norms
- Identification of trends and causes of turnover and proactive implementation of strategies to enhance retention
- Provide HR leadership on corporate initiatives and implement PMG-wide programs across the business group
- Provide leadership for culture and engagement programs supporting high growth and acquisition processes
- Develop and optimize regional HR processes and systems, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with global practices
- Lead initiatives around continuous improvement in areas such as onboarding, talent management and employee relations
- Collaborate with global HR operations and IT to ensure seamless HRIS integration and reporting capabilities across regions
- Oversee internal HR communications across EU & APAC to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with global messaging
- Drive communication strategies for major organizational changes (e.g., M&A, restructuring, policy updates)
- Foster a culture of transparency and engagement through frequent, multi-channel HR messaging
- Ensure compliance with local and country specific employment laws, education and adherence to local regulations and policies
- Partner with legal counsel to ensure that employment practices and actions are compliant while meeting the needs of the business
- Lead audits and risk assessments related to employment practices, working closely with Legal and Compliance
- Serve as the regional escalation point for sensitive employee relations matters, investigations, and legal compliance
- Provide HR business oversight on-going performance management program(s)
- Develop and implement harmonized career ladders across assigned groups
- Identify training needs for business group and individual executive coaching needs and partner with L&D to deliver solutions
- Provide coaching, counseling, career development, organize & plan training as required
- Coach and develop direct reports
- Lead the team focusing on critical priorities delivering exceptional customer service and results
- Ensure the teamβs actions and deliverables are in alignment with business needs
- Some travel to other offices and business meetings may be required

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources or related field of study
- HR certification
- HR systems; ADP Workforce Now, ATS systems and other programs
- Compensation structure design & implementation
- Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience
- Experience partnering with multiple business leaders and key stakeholders
- High growth organization including building and supporting HR programs & policies
- Employee relations and coaching to include both management and non-management levels
- Demonstrated understanding of business and management principles involved in planning, staff resource allocation and human resources modeling
- Successful record of building and nurturing a positive culture, aligning people processes with business goals and requirements
- Understanding of project management principles and experience successfully executing complex projects
- Comfortable working within and navigating a matrix structure
- Experience working with a diverse and dispersed organization
- Highly organized
- Proactive, customer-focused approach to work, demonstrating responsiveness and flexibility and ensuring all queries are dealt with efficiently, tactfully and confidentially
