Summary

The job is for a Machine Learning Engineering Lead at Viant, responsible for leading the development and implementation of machine learning models, overseeing a team, and integrating AI/ML solutions. The role requires 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in building and leading successful Data/ML teams, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, strong experience with Python and deep learning frameworks, proven ability to deliver results at scale, and a track record of cultivating strong relationships.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years’ building and leading successful Data, ML/AI teams
• Bachelor's degree, with a strong academic record, in Computer Science or Engineering, Masters preferred
• Strong experience building and applying machine learning models for business applications
• Experience with Python and Deep learning frameworks (Keras, Tensorflow, Pytorch)

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic direction and execution of the company's machine learning initiatives
• Oversee a team of machine learning engineers
• Drive the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team
• Partner with Executive Leaders, Engineering, and Product to ensure the seamless integration of AI/ML solutions into Advertising Products

Preferred Qualifications

Ad tech industry experience is a plus
