Vice President of Federal Sales

Join Kyruus Health as Vice President of Federal Sales and lead the expansion of our federal healthcare business. You will develop and implement a growth strategy to significantly increase annual recurring revenue, focusing on new contracts and expanding existing relationships with organizations like the VA and DoD. This role requires extensive experience in federal sales, a proven track record of scaling revenue, and a deep understanding of federal healthcare procurement. You will collaborate with internal teams and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to navigate procurement processes and ensure contract success. Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, specifically in federal healthcare or payer sales with a demonstrated understanding of complex, government-regulated environments
• Proven experience driving federal accounts from single-digit ARR to substantial multi-million-dollar revenue, with expertise in navigating long sales cycles and complex contract negotiations
• In-depth understanding of federal contracting, GSA schedules, FAR/DFARS compliance, and large-scale RFI/RFP submissions
• Ability to interpret and use data to inform strategy and drive decision-making; skilled in managing data and analytics for effective account planning and forecasting
• A “super hunter” capable of working autonomously with a draw-based compensation structure and a focus on generating new business while leveraging existing contracts

Responsibilities

• Lead Kyruus Health’s efforts to grow within the federal healthcare space, working closely with system integrators, expanding established contracts, and building strategic partnerships
• Lead execution of developing and implementing a growth strategy to grow the federal book of business
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Product, Sales Operations) to align goals, refine product offerings, and ensure strategic alignment on federal healthcare initiatives
• Expand Kyruus' presence within federal healthcare systems and payer organizations
• Advance reach within the federal government, scale current opportunities, and contribute to a growing sales team, with an individual contributor role that focuses heavily on new business acquisition and relationship management
• Secure and manage significant federal contracts, such as with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Defense (DoD), and active-duty healthcare benefits
• Bring a deep understanding of federal healthcare procurement, including the complexities of long sales cycles and regulatory compliance
• Cultivate long-term relationships within federal agencies, veteran service organizations, system integrators, and partner organizations to navigate procurement processes and ensure long-term contract success
• Own Federal Contract Expansion through the build on current VA Community Connect scheduling contracts and strategic partnerships with Leidos and Oracle Cerner to drive substantial contract expansion and improve service offerings

Preferred Qualifications

• Established relationships with key stakeholders in federal healthcare organizations, including VA, DoD, and associated contractors
• Familiarity with digital health trends, provider data management, and end-to-end care solutions in the Federal healthcare space
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape, including companies like Loyal and Phreesia, and an understanding of how Kyruus Health’s offerings differentiate in the Federal and Payer sectors
