Requirements

  • 6+ years of legal experience, including corporate, employment, and commercial law
  • Proven track record of managing complex contracts and compliance issues
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience with legal setup and compliance in international markets, particularly Canada and India
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Admission to a state bar in good standing; multi-jurisdictional experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all legal matters, including commercial contracts, privacy, and compliance
  • Manage and update subscription agreements, NDAs, and contractor/consultant agreements
  • Review employment agreements, variable compensation plans, and separation agreements
  • Advise on ethical data practices and privacy compliance
  • Lead equity management and oversee legal setup in international markets, including Canada and India
  • Provide legal opinions on confidentiality and data handling practices
