Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for healthcare operations, aligning with the company’s overall goals
- Lead, manage, and mentor the healthcare operations team, including managers, dispatch, and implementation personnel
- Provide direction and oversight for all healthcare operations, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and scalability
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery processes, minimize operational costs, and enhance service quality
- Oversee the internal operations teams that handle day-to-day management of delivery services, including route planning, driver compliance, dispatch, and delivery performance
- Implement systems and processes that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, such as route optimization, real-time tracking, and automated dispatching
- Continuously monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity and reduce delivery errors
- Develop contingency plans for addressing operational disruptions, such as weather-related delays or service interruptions
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operations, including delivery speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction
- Regularly review operational data and performance reports to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and corrective actions as needed
- Ensure all performance goals are met and report progress to senior leadership
- Develop and maintain processes that ensure superior customer experience, including timely deliveries and issue resolution
- Establish and track customer satisfaction metrics, using data to make service and operational improvements
- Collaborate with account management and sales teams to understand customer needs and incorporate feedback into operational processes
- Lead the adoption and implementation of technology solutions that enhance operations
- Work closely with IT and other departments to evaluate and implement technology that supports operations and enhances customer satisfaction
- Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements in final mile logistics services and evaluate their applicability to the organization
- Develop and manage the budget for healthcare operations, ensuring cost control and resource optimization
- Analyze operational costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make recommendations to improve profitability
- Provide regular financial and operational reports to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and key performance trends
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of talent within the department
- Foster a positive work culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and high performance
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance reviews, and career development opportunities for department staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics or delivery services management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership role (Vice President, Director, or equivalent), preferably within the healthcare industry
- Experience leading operations with Independent Contractor model
- Available to work extra hours, weekends, and holidays
