Summary
The job is for a Vice President of Talent, Global Total Rewards at Harbor, responsible for developing and executing compensation, benefits, wellness, mobility, and recognition programs. The position can be remote within the US or Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in HR, business administration or a related field is required
- At least 15 years of hands-on experience in total rewards including compensation strategy and design, benefits plan design, analysis, deployment, analytics, reporting, and compliance
- At least 5 years of management experience required
- Advanced knowledge of compensation programs, including executive, sales, short/long-term incentives globally
- Strong negotiation and consultative skills with the ability to partner with and influence people at all levels
- Ability to undertake competitive benchmarking and process the outcomes into meaningful analysis and recommendations for action
- Strong analytical skills and solutions oriented
- Highly collaborative and adept at working in fast-paced, growth-oriented organization
- Excellent leadership skills including ability to develop highly organized and motivated teams
- Able to travel as needed
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design and administration of compensation programs and processes, including base pay, merit, short/long-term incentives, leveling, reporting and market analysis
- Create a compensation strategy that aligns with performance and motivates high potential employees and future leaders
- Develop and execute the global total rewards strategy; assess, optimize, and upgrade the total rewards programs to ensure the right mix of offerings
- Develop the global benefits strategy; oversee and manage multiple country benefit service providers and ensure annual rollout, enrollment, and renewals
- Provide strategic direction, functional expertise and support to Talent, business leaders and executives regarding HR policy, decisions, and interpretation
- Spearhead an assessment of global competitiveness of rewards programs to gain an understanding of market trends and changing conditions
- Oversee the global Mobility policy, programs, and process, including relocation and immigration
- Ensure global compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Oversee the global safety, wellness and recognition programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence and Private Equity backed organizations is highly desired
