Join Sauce, a leading restaurant technology platform, as the VP of People and play a pivotal role in our global expansion. As a strategic leader and hands-on operator, you will develop and execute a global People strategy, scale our global workforce, and foster a culture of inclusivity and performance. You will lead global HR initiatives, enhance our recruiting strategy, and work closely with the executive team. This remote-first role requires extensive experience in HR leadership, global team management, and talent acquisition. Requirements

  • 8+ years in HR leadership, with at least 4+ years of experience managing global teams across multiple regions (LATAM, Europe, US, Israel, etc.)
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, organizational design, employee engagement, and developing high-performance cultures
  • Strong experience in scaling teams in fast-paced, tech-driven environments
  • Expertise in compensation strategy, global compliance, and managing complex HR operations
  • Passionate about fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment
  • Hands-on, with a "player-coach" mentality, especially in the early stages of team-building

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a global People strategy that aligns with Sauceโ€™s mission, values, and growth trajectory
  • Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape organizational culture, workforce planning, and leadership development
  • Lead efforts to design and execute a scalable global talent acquisition strategy, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent across diverse regions and markets
  • Leverage data to inform hiring decisions and anticipate workforce needs
  • Build and sustain a positive, inclusive culture that reflects our values
  • Oversee programs for employee well-being, career development, and performance management to ensure a positive experience at every stage of the employee lifecycle
  • Spearhead recruiting efforts globally, ensuring we meet our hiring goals in key markets such as LATAM, Europe, and the US
  • This includes building recruiting processes and systems, managing relationships with external recruiters, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive hiring culture
  • Oversee talent management strategies, including leadership development, performance reviews, and succession planning
  • Focus on building a strong leadership pipeline and career progression opportunities for employees at all levels
  • Work with the finance team to develop competitive compensation strategies tailored to each market
  • Ensure alignment with Sauceโ€™s values, maintaining internal equity while staying competitive across the global landscape
  • Lead the implementation of organizational changes to support growth and efficiency
  • Manage transitions, crisis responses, and workforce restructuring efforts, ensuring smooth communication and support for employees
  • Ensure global HR operations are efficient, compliant with local laws, and adaptable to Sauceโ€™s evolving needs
  • Develop and implement systems and tools to streamline HR processes and improve overall team efficiency
  • Ensure the appropriate onboarding for each new team member and organization and work closely with the hiring manager to make sure we maximize our most important resource - our people!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Israeli-based startups is a plus!
  • Multi-lingual also a big plus (Spanish, Hebrew, English, Portuguese, and more languages spoken here at Sauce!)
  • You are humble, lean and mean when needed
