Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a dispatcher, preferably in HVAC, home repair, restoration, or a related industry (e.g., windows, flooring, plumbing)
  • Experience managing multiple technicians’ schedules and handling high call volumes
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, remote work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Sheets, Gmail, Docs, Meet), and CRM systems
  • Must be able to work remotely with minimal distractions and a reliable internet connection

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls and make outbound calls to existing customers. Scripts provided
  • Manage the dispatch board, scheduling and assigning service calls based on technicians’ skillsets, location, and availability
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary information, tools, and parts to complete jobs efficiently
  • Monitor service call progress and provide customers with real-time updates
  • Maintain accurate records of all service calls, including assignments, arrival times, and job completion details
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and ensure a smooth service experience
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimize service operations and improve communication
  • Follow up on any open or incomplete tickets from previous days
  • Assist in scheduling preventive maintenance visits and follow-up appointments

Preferred Qualifications

Strong familiarity with the Raleigh-Durham area (geography, traffic patterns, and spatial relations)
