Requirements

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Information Security Programs for Applied Compliance Services, LLC
• Perform policy and procedure development
• Control the implementation and management of general controls
• Prepare for third party audits and regulatory examinations
• Communicate threats, risks to bank clients including board reporting
• Manage risk assessments and participate in meetings as needed
• Assist with all aspects of managing a healthy information security program
• Conduct IT risk assessments, policy development and reviews, general controls reviews, firewall reviews and preparing draft and final reports for clients
• Communicate and work with other vendors of the clients
• Facilitate testing and training of all DR and Continuity plans
• Facilitate Security Awareness training
• Participate in the entire project process from assisting sales with technical questions through report delivery and follow up
• Travel as needed to client sites for onsite meetings and reviewing. This will vary with clients and their specific needs; however travel is usually between 5% and 10%
• Researching and staying abreast of new technology, standards, and financial industry regulations
• Assist in the development of new processes and procedures to improve the Security Advisor role, auditing and assessments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Financial Industry a plus
