Summary

Join bswift's team as a Vice President, Client Renewal Executive and manage the renewal process for Direct Client Services contracts, negotiate contract terms, and ensure seamless contract renewals to maintain and strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in benefits administration, contract management, or related field, with strong track record in client relations and contract negotiations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field (advanced degrees or certifications are preferred)
  • Proven experience in contracts management and execution, particularly with executive-level contacts, in the benefits administration domain
  • In-depth knowledge of employee benefits programs, regulations, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to interact effectively with executive contacts
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex client needs
  • Analytical skills to assess data and make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple client contract renewals simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of contract renewals, including preparation, negotiation, and execution
  • Review existing contracts and work with internal leadership to assess client needs to propose appropriate adjustments, enhancements and new service(s)
  • Ensure all contractual terms meet client requirements and bswift company standards
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service levels with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to align on contract terms and conditions
  • Review contract performance (e.g., KPIs, FTEs, service utilization) and identify areas for improvement
  • Analyze contract performance metrics and implement strategies for optimization
  • Ensure contracts are renewed timely according to bswift client governance process
  • Provide renewal status report-outs to internal leadership via ongoing meetings and Salesforce reporting tools
  • Achieve high client retention rates through effective contract renewal execution and management
  • Meet or exceed renewal targets and revenue goals
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention
  • Identify opportunities for additional services or enhancements

Benefits

Base salary range of $150,000-175,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses
